Year 6

We hope all of our Year Six children and their families had a pleasant half-term. It is hard to believe we are now over halfway through the school year, especially given how much excitement there is still to come! We are very grateful for all the support, which has been provided to the children enabling them to arrive at school at 8:15am on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The extra-time spent in school to date has proved to be invaluable so please keep ensuring they are here on time at the beginning of each day. As ever, we appreciate your support ensuring your child is completing their home learning, reading on a daily basis and learning their multiplication tables. This half-term, we are continuing our topic of World War Two, which will include reading ‘The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas’ and learning about the Holocaust. We hope the richness of some of the conversations we have in the classroom are complemented with those had around the dinner table at home.
