Welcome to the summer term! We hope you had a restful Easter and are energised ready for our final term of learning! Our ‘Talk for Writing’ texts this term are Jack and the Beanstalk we will build on their knowledge of word reading, sentence writing and oral storytelling. We are anticipating an exciting opportunity for the children to take care of our very own duck eggs! We will watch carefully as they hatch and are introduced into the world! We are also fast approaching the end of the year and are therefore preparing your child for life in Year 1. There will be lots of opportunities for your child to visit their new classroom and meet their new teachers. Please can we ensure that bags and reading books are in school every day and that you are reading regularly at home with your child. We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you to apply sunscreen BEFORE coming to school on sunny days. Please also ensure your child has a sun hat, water bottle, spare clothes and underwear in their bag.
